The Adobe® Photoshop® Lightroom® 2.5 update includes these enhancements:
• Additional camera support for several new camera models including the Nikon D3000 and Olympus E-P1
• Includes several corrections for issues introduced by previous Lightroom 2 releases
This new version of the Camera Raw plug-in replaces the original Camera Raw plug-in that was installed with Adobe® Creative Suite® 4, Adobe Photoshop® CS4, Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 and Premiere® Elements 7 software.
Important notice:
Read the following installation instructions carefully. Incorrect installation will prevent Adobe Bridge and Camera Raw 5.5 from reading raw images correctly.

For the first time I used Auchan.lu photo service. All started as a mistake. I thought I’m ordering from photoservice.com which has shop at the ground floor, but because of that I can compare both services.
I just want to let you know my experience.
Auchan.lu has really easy website to navigate and order your photos in a snap.
I ordered two 30×40 test prints as it is cheaper.

Auchan’s paper is much thinner, compare to photo service. but the color is really nice.

Color is really good, as on my computer.
they will not cut the paper for you.
You order 30×40 and you get much bigger paper. Can be advantage and it is good to know if you want extra large prints for less money, on the other-hand absolutely stupid if you trying to fit in in the 30×40 frame.
Next time will check what they will do if I return the prints.

Color 1x great 1x bad, Orange color was way to washed out.
Better and thicker paper on print 30×40.
Different paper on lower sizes.
they cut paper for you, Yeay, I carefully explained how I want it. and still they managed to ruin it. Next time I check before they pack it into the boxes.

So here we are back from Snowdonia. With some adventures at the end but finally we managed all to catch the plane back. Now time has come to sleep a little bit as the nights were really short. Wake up around 4.15 AM in order to be on spot before the sunrise, all day shooting around the Snowdonia National Park
, waiting for the light of sunset for another photo shooting till 9.00 PM and finally back to the hostel. The next day the same scenario with the wake up around 4.15 AM… etc. etc.
In the next days we will probably be all downloading, converting, tagging, sometimes deleting the photos. A special album where the participating members can upload the photos and where all visitors can see the photos will be created this week.
Thank you all for this excellent ambiance, creative approach, mutual exchange of experiences, sharing the knowledge, the way of looking and thinking about photography.

So … The day finally approaches 
Tomorrow the group of seven members of the Clubfoto Luxembourg will start the 3,5 days long photo shooting trip to Snowdonia in Wales (UK). The trip starts the 30.04 and we shall be back in Luxembourg on the 03.05. We hope the weather will help us to catch some good light a bring some nice pictures. Stay tuned for more news.
The departure is 13.00 from Luxembourg Kirchberg. All travellers should have already received the details.
Apple today announced updates to its iMac and Mac mini desktop lines, including a 24-inch iMac and a Mac mini with new NVIDIA integrated graphics. For the same $1,499 price as the previous generation 20-inch iMac, the new 24-inch iMac delivers a 30 percent larger display, twice the memory and twice the storage. Apple also claims up to five times better graphics performance in the new Mac mini with the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M integrated graphics..
“Our flagship 24-inch iMac with twice the memory and twice the storage is now available for just $1,499,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s COO. “The Mac mini is not only our most affordable Mac, it’s also the world’s most energy efficient desktop computer.”
Apple today introduced the new Mac Pro using Intel “Nehalem” Xeon processors and a next-generation system architecture. The new Mac Pro starts at $2,499 and features “the latest graphics technology and an updated interior that makes expansion even easier than before.”
“The new Mac Pro is a significant upgrade and starts at $300 less than before,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. “The Mac Pro features an advanced system architecture, new faster processors and our best-ever graphics options to deliver a faster, more powerful system that our professional customers are going to love.”
The new Mac Pro includes Intel Xeon processors running at speeds up to 2.93 GHz and an integrated memory controller with three channels of 1066 MHz DDR3 ECC memory. Apple claims that this delivers up to 2.4 times the memory bandwidth while cutting memory latency up to 40 percent. Every Mac Pro also comes standard with the NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 with 512MB of GDDR3 memory. An optional ATI Radeon HD 4870 is available for more performance. The new Mac Pro also comes with both a Mini DisplayPort and a DVI port to support the 24-inch Apple LED Cinema Display, the 30-inch Apple Cinema HD Display, or other DVI based displays.
